Project Title:
Geotechnical Investigations and Stage 1 Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI) for New Warehouse, Driveway, and Car Parking Development
Project Description:
This project involved comprehensive geotechnical investigations alongside a Stage 1 Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI) to support the design and construction of a new warehouse facility, associated driveway, and car parking areas. The geotechnical investigations included borehole drilling, soil sampling, and laboratory testing to assess subsurface soil conditions, bearing capacity, and groundwater levels.
The Stage 1 PSI was conducted to identify any potential contamination risks or environmental constraints at the site, through historical land use reviews, site reconnaissance, and preliminary risk assessments. Findings from both investigations informed the engineering design, ensuring safe and stable foundations for the warehouse and durable pavement structures for the driveway and car parking.
The combined approach provided critical data to guide earthworks, foundation design, and environmental management, facilitating compliant and cost-effective development of the site.
